    clutch drop???

so I have not driven my car in some time (less than 2 weeks). It is stored outside, under a car cover. Today I go to drive it, and the clutch pedal upon touching it, drops to the floor????? any one ever experience this before???
I would love any insight here???

You're going to have to check the clutch hydraulic system, it lost fluid somewhere.
This isn't because the car sat, just a coincidence that it failed while sitting.

First check the reservoir to see it the clutch compartment has fluid. If it doesn't it has leaked out.

To check for a leak check under the car for leaks at the clutch line and fluid dripping from the bell housing when you pump the pedal. If nothing there, check around and underneath the clutch master cylinder.

If the fluid level is okay, replace the at least the master cylinder. Given the age it is better to replace the master, slave, and soft line.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

thanks everyone, I am going to do those things first, although it has been in the same spot w/o moving. No fluid seems to have leaked. No stains, etc. Time to get it in the air and see what is up.

Yeah the clutch needs a lot of bleeding. Get as much fluid into the SS as you can and bleed it a little, then unbolt it and push the piston IN all the way. You should see a ton of air come back up. Then reinstall it and bleed some more. Repeat as needed.

Under NO circumstances should you EVER push the clutch pedal while the SS is not fully installed. You'll push the piston out of its cylinder and possibly tear the rubber boot.

so I let it sit overnight, and it seems to have bleed itself. I bleed it again, and all was fine.

I am having the same problem. I have fluid under the car, also I have fluid leaking from the top of the master cyl. Rubber boot busted. I ordered the slave and clutch master cyl from Rockauto. I have a m50 engine with a 240 tranny using DMF, when ordering the slave cyl, most available were single mass slaves, and no other were available! so I ordered anyways, is there any difference in the slaves?
