    Manual Transmission Oil for a 86 325e?

    Just want to confirm.
    A) transmission does not have a label on it - so I read it needs a ATF (mainly Redline ATF)
    B) My realoem.com calls for ATF http://realoem.com/bmw/showparts.do?...97&hg=23&fg=05
    C) Will I go with REDLINE ATF or something different?
    Thanks for your input

No sticker = MTL not ATF

                I thought green label = 75w90 while no label = 70w80

If you have a female 17mm hex drain and fill bolt and you cant find any labels, then use 70w80 GL-4 (it is critical that you use GL-4 and not GL-5).
