    318ic differential case question?

I found a really good deal in oem limited slip differential parts out of a 91 325ic that I would like to put in my 91 318ic. It says it will not fit the small case differential. So my question is: Does my car have a small case differential, or is it the same as the 325ic?

    Thanks!

I do believe you can swap to a medium case as long as you have the output flanges to go with it and you dont mind the extra weight

Yes the medium case diff would be a direct swap.
