I'm typically an advocate of never reusing a clutch. However, I just pulled the clutch out of my donor car this weekend. It looks brand new. Even the white stamped lettering for SACHS is clear. No dust, or grease/oil build up. Not even a burn mark or wear spot on the clutch. It looks like it's new. Guibo looks brand new. Flywheel looks to be resurfaced too, so it's looking like this job was just done.
When I get home tonight I can mic it, but anyone had any experience here? Or know what the new clutch specs are?
All in all, it seems it would save me ~180 to not replace the clutch/pressure plate. I'm still getting new master, slave, flywheel bolts, PP bolts, rear main seal, tranny seals, mounts, center support bearing. So the super clutch kit at pelican parts is $400, and the parts without the clutch/pressure plate total to $220ish.
