so im just curious if the wiring is any simplier sense i do not have cruise control. i used this guide http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthr...=108141&page=3 im assuming that that is pretty much cruise pacific and just wanted to see what wiring i actually have to do. thanks for any help!

The wiring will slightly be easier if cruise control is ignored, but the P/N starter safety switch will still have to be dealt with.The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

there's a thread here somewhere, pretty recent too, that describes how to remove the automatic trans wiring. you'll have working cruise control etc, and you don't need to splice any wires. the whole harness can be removed and bypassed. this is because all E30s were really meant to be manual transmission ;)Comment
