What short shifter is this?

I pulled this out of my 318is. I know it's not stock as the PO said he installed a short shift, but he neglected to include anything about what kind it is.

My guess is a z3 or a z4, but i'm not sure. There are no markings on it other than an incredibly dull "BMW".

Any help is greatly appreciated!

If it doesn't work with my s52 swap (ZF320), it will also be up for sale.

looks like a Z4 2.5 but not too sure. Z3 shifters are longer

Try measuring it and then look around for the lengths. I'm pretty sure I say a thread on discussing the lengths of short shifters.
