Your half shafts will fail first before the diff. One option is replacing the rear end with the Mcoupe trailing arms and 1/2 shafts. they bolt right into your stock diff and subframe.
There is a 210mm diff out of a 5 series not sure which one but a lot of drag cars use them.Need a Turbo manifold? We have them in stock- Click here---> http://rapidspoolindustries.com/

I can build you a rear end for 500-1000rwhp if you have the axels/stubs that can take it. Dss would be my recommendation as many locals are running them happily.
Twin ear rear cover is also needed from garrets kit for lsx e30 or e36m rogue cover. E30 single ear unit will not take 600rwhp!! The thin cast alu is prone to cracking/snapping off in drag racing and road racing.
210mm diff is not needed although will last for more passes- 188mm built diff took 35 passes in the 9's@1krwhp before clutches wore- gears and bearings were still good to race more.
A few locals with my units:
Ls7 e36m
Ls3 e30m
S50 drag turbo e36m @4b motorsports (1,000rwhp sias tuned -9.1@159 on IRS before going to tube rear)OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25
Z4 non powered steering rack fits e30
Euro e46 2005/6 320d 6mt gearbox into E30 with M20 hardy and beck 1985 327s engine

The DSS axles are amazing. I literally flipped out when I opened the package. They are probably 4 times the weight of the stock ones, massive cv's, just screams quality.
Great quality, but high cost. Depends on the budget.Just a little project im working on
