Clutch slowly engages while pedal depressed

With the clutch pedal engaged, the clutch itself will slowly start engaging. I haven't noticed any loss of fluid, clutch slave is less than a year old Febi unit. My only thoughts are 1. My clutch master is going bad or 2. The brake hose I used as a temp. fix when I ruined my clutch line is finally showing me why they are not the same...

I have a new stainless clutch line from Blunttech that I plan to put on today, but do the symptoms I've described sound consistent with another part failure?

Sounds like a mc or sc failure. Since you replaced the slave already I'd replace the Mc.

If there are no leaks at the soft line or slave, the master cylinder is bad. When one fails, best practice is to replace both. The other usually soon fails.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
