What can or could cause "wheel hop" in first (possibly slightly in second) upon medium/hard acceleration on an 87 325i 5 speed with what the vin describes as a 25% locking diff and m sport suspension(according to vin not the seller) its on bilsteins and at the moment unknown lowering springs.. i have yet to drive the car but i am buying it because the seller has done (as far as i know) a phenomenal job representing the car with videos pics and conversation.. i'm trying to get an idea of some stuff to look at when i buy the car and plan for parts i will need to order..
I've never experienced wheel hop in any of my vehicles nor have i ever had to diagnose wheel hop while working in shops as a mechanic.. shock mounts? csb? guibo? tranny mounts?
