Cant separate trans from block

    Cant separate trans from block

    Im about 50% done with my 5 speed swap but cant separate my transmission from the block. Any tips? I have no idea what im doing wrong.

        If you haven't unbolted the torque converter from the flywheel, you need to do that. Take off the rear oil pan cover thingy that covers up the bottom of the bellhousing, rotate engine until you see a bolt going into the torque converter, unbolt, repeat 2x.

          So this is my only problem?

          I didnt see that in the swap instructions.

            I don't know if it's your only problem, but if you haven't done it, you should. The shaft it sits on in the transmission won't let it go unless it's perfectly straight, which rarely happens. Unbolting is far easier.
