    Guibo and CSB horror

    Replaced my guibo and CSB because of vibrations from the tunnel under hard acceleration in 1st, 2nd, and 3d. This is what they looked like when I took them out.



    Yes this is what the CSB looked like when we took it off. The metal was already split like that.

      The guibo was age/load cracked and was a minor contributor to the vibrations. The CSB failed because the u-joints in the drive shaft are bad/binding. Replacing the CSB may provide temporary relief, but until the drive shaft is replaced the new CSB will probably have a very short life and you may still get some vibration. I use reman drive shafts from DriveLine Services.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
