    Z3M diff. Q

    Hey all,

Just before someone jumps on me for asking, I did search and am not getting a clear answer on this...

I'm going to do a Z3M 5-lug swap and S54 swap, so I was thinking I would swap the diff. too to keep the same final drive ratio. But will it fit?

I read there are incompatibilities with e36 diffs (bolt holes), so I'm even less sure about the Z3M.

    many thanks,
    - Colin

You might need to swap output flanges, i think z3m cv joints are larger, but thats easy. They pop right out and snap in.

Yes, I did forget to mention I was already aware of that. I was primarily trying to determine whether or not I'm going to sell the diff. I already have.
