    driveshaft issues.

    so doing a 5spd swap everything was going smoothly until I hit the 4 bolts on the driveshaft connecting it to the diff. 2 of them came out with hitting the 17mm wrench with a hammer. the other 2 seem to be stuck. ive been contemplating to angle grind them off but dont know if the angle grinder will fit between them to get to the bolts. any ideas? ive tried searching but it seems like theres hardly any issues with this.

    There is enough room to get a C type nut splitter in. Dunno if the type that fits over the nut will go in.
    The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

      If the bolt heads are still intact, figure out how to apply more torque. The worst case is that you twist them off, in which case the driveshaft can still be removed. I'd recommend heading to the hardware store and getting a couple pieces of pipe that fit over your wrenches.

        I totally forgot about that tool. thanks for reminding me hoepfully it can crack that nut.

                thanks guys, I ended up angle grinding most of it and hitting it with a chisel. (heat didnt work either so I sakd screw it) Click image for larger version

ID:	7165387. Now how do I get this off? picture is trying to show both halves off and the driveshaft lock on it. do I use a puller for it? I was on pelican parts to no extent and searching the forums for a diy, but did not find one besides pulling the bearing off with a puller.
