    Driveshaft Flex Disc Change Advice?

My flex disk is in rough shape. I plan to replace it very soon.

    I have a '92 vert with a manual tranmission.

Can anyone who has done this give me any advise? How many hours am I looking at? Does the driveshaft need to be completley removed? The Bentley recommends it but doesnt say for sure one way or the other.

Also, the exhaust must be dropped, which worries me. That always has the potential to turn into a can of worms. The exhaust should be dropped from the headers, correct?

    Any advice is appreciated.

Just do it. no it doesn't have to be completely removed. You may have to unbolt the CSB though. The exhaust doesn't need to be dropped completely either. I was able to swing it out of the way by just unbolting the rear muffler hangers for more clearance but I have a single 3" system vs stock dual system. Get down there and see what you are dealing with.
