    88 SETA Flywheel

I've just ordered a Spec Stage 3 clutch thinking I had a single mass flywheel but now I'm having doubts. From what I understand, the switch to single mass was around 86 but according to realoem, I have a dual mass. Can anyone confirm if the seta came with a single or dual?

Swap to a single mass M20B25 flywheel and you're good.

Mine SETA is a dual mass and looking for a single currently. Its my understanding that the autos and manual 325i's have different flywheels? As cross referencing the PN on real oem pulls up autos as well as manuals. But when you go to the page it lists about 3 flywheels.

Also am I correct in assuming SETA's don't need the reference pins on the flywheel since it uses the front CPS sensor.

Just finished swapping my flywheel this weekend and no the seta does not need the reference pin. Not sure about the whole auto flywheel situation but I would stick to a manual if possible.

Super Eta does not use the trans mounted crank sensor. It's on the front of the engine.

You can not use a auto "flywheel" in a stick shift car. A single mass M20B25 flywheel would be a direct swap for a Super Eta car. All M20B25 flywheels are the same single mass unit.
