Is my diff contact pattern good?

To my understanding, the "tight" was refering to backlash... like I didn't have enough backlash to account for thermal expension. And as stated above, it may be thru for racing, but OK for normal road driving. As I intend to track the car, I will increase the backlash a bit, still within the TIS spec.

Well both can effect backlash and contact pattern. Pinion depth relates more to centering the contact pattern on the tooth.
