My shifter in my new 1986 325es is absolutely terrible and I cannot for the life of me find a rebuild kit/z3 ssk for 04/86 production. Only 06/86 and later. My shifter bushings are so bad that my shifter pushes the center console to get into 2nd, 4th, and reverse. Please help me!

I just used a piece of power steering hose as a substutute for the rear mount. It fits tight with no slop and its lasted for several months with no degradation. It made a huge difference in how the shifter felt. Might get you by for a whileYou say "Where are your other two cylinders?"
