Hi all, saw an earlier thread on this. I replaced my tranny and diff fluids, and didn't help my problem. My problem was jerking during acceleration, especially 1st and 2nd gear. getrag 260. Anyways... I got back into the car, and it must've gotten worse. Under acceleration, it feels like the car is on a rumble strip and now it sounds like the driveshaft is loose... I can feel vibrations in the transmission tunnel area. I limped it all the way home about 15 miles going as slow as possible. How feasible is it to go to a junkyard, and pull everything from the guibo back to the diff? Could I just unbolt a few things and pop everything out?

Very feasible, and yes, but the diff is a bit of a bish.Originally posted by Andy.BWhenever I am about to make a particularly questionable decision regarding a worryingly cheap diy solution, I just ask myself, "What would Ether-D do?"

I realized I have a new guibo... And I may end up keeping the diff since it's a 4.1 and the car's sitting on 17's right now. Do you just pull the driveshaft out the diff or what? LOL
