    E30 Vibration Dampers

I have a picture of this vibration damper that's still jimmied to manual transmission output flange. Can anyone tell me how do i get that out?
I am hoping not to use my puller on it because it feels like half plastic half steel when I flexed it with a wrench. And I'm hoping that I do not have to get to that bolt in the middle because I need to buy a deep socket to get at it.

I am not 100% sure what I am looking at, but from what I see, that bolt has to come off. I may be wrong though

You're going to have to take the output flange nut off to pull that out buddy.

Huh. Mine was on the driveshaft, not the trans flange.

But yeah, remove flange, pound out studs, replace with shorter studs.

30mm deep drive, thin wall, impact socket will make short work of it if you have an impact gun. They can be pretty frozen. I had to buy a socket for this son-of-a-bitch bolt and have it machined down.

No, no need to remove the flange. Just pound the guibo bolts out, it will drop out. Make sure it doesn't fall on you though, because it is heavy.

Mine is on the DS, too. Would it do any good there even?
