I don't expect that it would do very much. Unlike brake lines, where little fluid flows and a firm pedal is desired, the clutch line sees a lot of fluid flow -- many times the volume of the line. And you pretty much only care that the clutch disengages and engages smoothly. There isn't the sharp increase in line pressure that happens just as the brakes engages which bulges the hose and makes modulating the brakes more difficult.
i used a stainless clutch line from UUC when I put my s50 motor in. Don't know if it was the clutch line or the m3 clutch disc but the clutch pedal is super stiff. If I drive my m3 right after my s50e30 I almost put the clutch through the floor!
I would do rubber next time if indeed it is this SS line that made the pedal this stiff, it's a little ridiculous...but everything functions properly.
That does not look like the right one. The factory hose is 1/2 flex hose, 1/2 stainless tubing. This one appears to be all stainless tubing which would give it no flexiblity.
I checked with Bavarian, Pelican, & Bimmerworld and they are all $69.95. UUC seems like a bargain.
