How do I know I have OEM axles? Recommend CV boot kit

    Hi everyone,
I FINALLY got the time to work on the axles of my 91 vert. I read that grease and reboot the original axles is the way to go, provided they're not clanking or the boots are not torn. So, I would like to grease and reboot, but how do I know I have the original OEM BMW axles on?

Second question: would you recommend a good "budget" CV boot kit? I heard some of the kits have the wrong size outer boot, which makes the boot to rub against brake lines/shocks. I have Bilstein Sports all around.

    Thanks a lot in advance!

    Cheers
    Luciano

Every axle I've seen including the "OEM replacement" I recently bought, say GKN Lobro on the rim of the inner flange. I'd stick with genuine BMW boots. They are not very costly.

Def DEF use blue loctite on the inner bolts. I just reattached the ones on my ETA after all 6 back out and separated from the diff. Lucky the only damage was 3 of the bolts.
Seat Shocks....I have passed the baton to John Christy from Ninestitch. Email John or Garrett at ninestitch1@gmail.com
