Where to find information on rebuilding an LSD?

My father in law is going to help me rebuild my diff over the winter, he was a mechanic for around 20 years and has done dozens of diffs. What I'm looking for is something that can tell me all the necessary specs and what is needed to rebuild a differential, more specifically a 2.93 LSD for a 325es. The Bentley doesn't give information on pulling apart and rebuilding the differential, so if someone can point me in the right direction, I'd appreciate it. Thanks!

      If they're willing... I wouldn't be.

It's in the TIS. Good luck finding parts. You'll need it...

Cool, thanks guys. I'll give them a call on Monday. My father-in-law spent the better part of 20 years as a Pontiac mechanic, and has tons of experience rebuilding posi-trac rear ends, so rebuilding an LSD should be no problem for him, we just need all the specs and what will be needed.

I would also be interested in a write up. Boy a 3.73 %60 lockup sounds really nice about now.
