The 3 bolts on mine are round on the back side, do you just knock them out with a hammer?

It should just come right off. Just take all 6 bolts out of the flex disc, and the dampener should just come off.
No, I don't work for Rogue. I just really like their beer... been to the brewery quite a few times.Leave a comment:

Mine's on the driveshaft. I think I found the answer in another thread, but if someone could confirm,... you need to pound the bolts out, then the dampener will rotate 60 degrees for removal.
PS: Ken,.. do you work for Rogue?Leave a comment:

It's bolted onto the tranny output flange. You need to just unbolt it from that. Use some liquid wrench.Leave a comment:

Removal of Vibration Dampener help needed.
I dropped my driveshaft this weekend while replacing the shift selection shaft seal (boy was that fun to get out). I was hoping to remove the vibration dampener that connects to the guibo but couldn't figure out how to get it off. It looks like there's 3 bolts holding it on but those wouldn't budge.
Also, the Bentley manual mentions rotating the dampener 60 degrees before removing the driveshaft, I got mine off without this step, but I'd like to know how it's possible to rotate the dampener when it's bolted on!Tags: None
