You do need to move the entire pedal assembly into the target of the swap. I don't know if there's a problem going from an airbag car to an non-airbag car. But I think I read that there is a problem going the other way. Try the pedal box from the 90 car and see if it fits. The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

no, the non airbag pedal box will not work. but you can take the brake and clutch pedal from the airbag box and mount them onto your auto pedal box. that way you don't need to remove the whole thing, and the mount for the clutch master cyl. is on the automatic pedal box (they are the same part). it's a little tight in there but with some wriggling you can get them on.

So i dont need to take out the box on anything since i am moving pedals from an airbag to a non airbag but if it was the other way around it wouldnt work? Thats nice, this part of the swap was the only thing i didnt know but it sounds like it will be not a big deal. I guess i dont know much about the wiring either but i havent even searched that yet and i am thinking it will be easy. Thanks
