    m roadster cover 33112228335

Does this do the trick for keeping fluids cooler if you are going to be auto-x or track driving.

Careful if you're planning to use for auto-x. E30s are really only competitive in stock, STS/STX, or DSP. Use of the M-cover is illegal for each of these classes (and totally unnecessary).

The plate type LSD in our cars has no use for that. The MZ3s do have use for it- the Torsen diffs in those cars make a lot more heat.

Old post revival, but you're incorrect. The Z3 M cars are have clutch pack LSDs with the finned cover, and the non-M came with torsen diffs, which look like a standard open diff. I should know, I have one that I'm installing on my e30.

The torsen generates less heat, because it doesn't use friction plates to move torque around.

Z3M had Torsen's as well I have the pdf release that shows it for the M. It wasn't an all years thing it was for 2 years.

Good to know. If it came with the finned diff cover as well, it was probably just for looks.
