Careful if you're planning to use for auto-x. E30s are really only competitive in stock, STS/STX, or DSP. Use of the M-cover is illegal for each of these classes (and totally unnecessary).Garrick

The plate type LSD in our cars has no use for that. The MZ3s do have use for it- the Torsen diffs in those cars make a lot more heat.Adam Fogg- '88 M3

The torsen generates less heat, because it doesn't use friction plates to move torque around.

Z3M had Torsen's as well I have the pdf release that shows it for the M. It wasn't an all years thing it was for 2 years.Comment
