    Will the 5spd from a 1993 318i work in my 90 325is?

by 93 are you referring to an e36 tranny, or an incredibly young e30 cabby?

is it a getrag 250? you might have a problem with the bellhousing, see this link:

Seems like I can get it for $300 and it comes with everything I need for the swap. I just want to make sure it will work...

You need a Getrag 260 for this car. I don't know what transmission a 93 318 uses, but there should be a part number on the driver's side of the transmission.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I was told by Treehouse racing the 318 and 325 trannys are identical in terms of the bellhousing and would bolt up with no problems. The 318 trans will even accept the M3 flywheel/clutch. Minor differences in the internals but nothing to worry over with a 318.

I'm using the 318 trans with my S52 swap so I'll have to monitor the wear somwhow...
