            it really isnt that difficult you just need the correct tools.

                And what tools are those?

                You also need new bearings and shims for the carrier, and I'm not sure if they're available.

                  Helical LSDs are pretty badass. Especially on FWD cars (a la Type-R, Spec-V).

                    I need to find out what it takes to install it, if it's not too big of pain and can be done with basic tools i'll order it in a few months.

                      It is a pain, and it cannot be done with basic tools. You also need to know HOW to do it, and it's NOT in the Bentley. The parts are available though, so that won't be an issue.

                              anybody have a reason why 325e's and 328i's supposedly have the same diff, yet it's different than e30 and e36 325i's.

                              I think I'm gonna guinee pig this but I want to make sure this company knows at least something about BMW fitment before I spend $400.
