Will shifter from 91 318i tranny work on 90 325is tranny?

Will the shifter from a 91 318i tranny work on a 90 325is tranny? I don't see the shifter on RealOEM. Thanks

well, mainly the shift lever but why wouldn't the console fit?

The shifters are the same part. The console might be longer in the 318is than in the 325, due to the shorter engine/trans.

I see... Can the shifter be removed from the tranny without removing the tranny? I can convert my auto console to fit the manual tranny, boot, shifter, correct?

You remove all of the auto crap, (there is no "console" in an auto transmission e30) And add the rear mount for the "console" and the rubber boot for the shift lever.

by console I meant what is seen from the inside of the car. The window switch, shifter, ashtray piece. Will everything I need to mount the manual transmission be there in my auto already or are you saying I will need a some other "rear mount"?

The console im talking about is underneath the car, in the transmission tunnel
