Are there any sure-fire ways to distinguish if sub-performance issues are related to the clutch as opposed to the tranny, or vice-a-versa?
When redline shifting out of second into third (or any subsequent higher gear), my RPM's will naturally drop down to around 5000. However, there is a nasty delay/hesitation for aprox 1000 RPMs before the trans will kick in and start to take-off. What needs to be done to fix this?
Just need some ideas as to what the issue may be. Is there any other ways of telling what the issue might be, or is the issue itself the distinguishing factor?
let me know your thoughts.
thanks!
