    Replace Tranny Mounts?

I wanna replace my tranny mounts - is it easy? Do I need any special tools? Is there a DIY somewhere on the r3v or on the net?

    TIA,
    Mark

        Argh!

I pulled off the cross-member, only to find that both mounts were broken in half - the upper half of each mount was still attached to the trans. Dang. Do I have to pull the exhaust off in order to gain access to the nuts on the trans or is there a special tool for that?

no, you can work around it if you have the right tools, but to be done right, I like to take the exhaust off, and then the cross member heat sheild and so on that way I leave less of a chance to screw something up. 20 min of prep time saves $$ and time in the future!
