    How Does My Guibo Look?

    hairline at the bottom

my rear main seal is teh leaky

I ask because I've been hearing a clunk mostly with lift off/on the accel in gear, and "rough"/lazy shifting. Sounding from the rear of the car. I figured it was the guibo, but it doesn't look that bad. Would a bad u joint (at the diff side) of the drive shaft cause this "clunking" I hear?

I also need to change my rtabs and subframe bushings.

I doubt that's the cause, it looks fine. It could be your CSB (driveshaft center support bearing)... check that.

deff check that, it's in the "rear"-ish area of the car.

could be subframe bushings too if the sound is only when you lift off the gas. if the csb is fucked check the driveshaft u joints too if they're stiff as hell thats prolly why the csb failed or so i've learned while looking around on r3v. i just did my guibo and csb last weekend and i still have a vibration. the new csb tightened it up a bit so it isnt clunking and sounding like the driveshaft is gunna fall out but its still there. grr. checking the csb requires dropping the exhaust and heatshielding, new bearing cost me i think $60 cdn.
