Help me make a custom E30 Diff!

OK guys! My problem is as follows... I drive a E30 M50 currently running a E30 3.15 diff with a E28 LSD Unit. My question is can i purchase a standard 6cyl diff with a 3.91 diff ratio and simply swap the parts around? to make me my 3.91 LSD?

EDIT: Before someone says hey just go get a 3.91 LSD. It is pretty much impossible to find one here in Australia.
PLUS i have been trying dan at diffsonline for months now and it seems he has lost interest in my requests for a ring and pinion so im stuck here.

just need a new big gear (i sound like such a dumbass saying big gear but i cant remember which one it is, ring i think) with 3.91 times the number of teeth as the small one (pinion?)

OpatGrun-Metalic is the color! Ring and pinion i beleive is the word you were after. Im gonna pick up a standard open case diff today in 3.91 and run that for a while. i know i will miss going sideways so easily but the lsd will have to come out eventually so might as well run a 3.91 so i get a chance to see how much more acceleration i will pick up.
