Yesterday we discovered that the LSD diff in our car is not limiting slip as it should be (yes, it is LSD confirmed by the S stamp and both sides turning in the same direction). Getting on the throttle around a corner at the autocross yesterday in 3rd gear only succeeded in making John Force style one wheel rolling burnouts instead of getting power to the ground:

I have heard of some people changing the fluid to Redline 75W140 NS or equivalent to temporarily bring the limited slip back to life by removing the friction modifiers that normally prevent the clutches in the diff from chattering. Any truth in this?
