Manual drive shaft and their compatibility

I got my manual trans from an '87 325es and am putting it into my '86 325e. Any ideas on what makes and models would have compatible drive shafts? - Couldn't find anything specific on what drive shafts fit which specific manual trans/e30s. Well sorta but nothing that really helped. From what I do know is that if you are doing a manual swap like I am, it is best to get the drive shaft from the donar car, or another car of the same year and model (also believe that the rear shaft is the same on all e30s??). Im hoping in my case someone has a list of shafts that work for specific years and models. Specifically im looking to know what will work for me (and hopefully everyone else doing the same).

You should measure the rubber giubo diameter. The big giubo is 135 mm (96 mm between the holes), the small one is 110 mm (78 mm between the holes).

325e should have the big one: https://www.realoem.com/bmw/enUS/sho...diagId=26_0122

Also, check the center mount number.

It's possible to change the flange to a smaller one on the transmission.
