Wow. Just wow. The progress on this build has been amazing. Great job! That wilwood setup will be pretty slick when it's done.

By the way, I stopped fooling around on my M60 and just got the SGI-8 Dakota Digital. Wired it up and i was DONE. It was good to have the peace of mind. Just saying.

Believe me, I'm going full blast on this thing. 23 days until I have to drive it to NC.

Glob of parts for today. Heater hoses and belt for power steering delete routing.

I was considering running without power steering but I'm not too sure.
You have to move to NC? I'm excited to see you try and complete this before then. If you do, you are the F******* man!

Have you considered the z4 steering rack for more clearance? Imagine your current rack minus that big glob on top of it where the hoses hook into. Makes great access to the shaft and header.

NC is the Vintage. Trying to hard to get it driving for the show, lol. Even thought about dropping it off the lift and working on it in my driveway at my house, but haven't gotten to that point yet.

Z4 rack will go in later. I have one in my e36 M3 and it is the beez kneez!

            Also, MORE PARTS!

            Small update, but pertinent.

71692 hose and Dayco 80422 hose connector.

Should have all my heater hoses squared away now. Time to see about routing my radiator/expansion tank hoses.

                    Okay guys.

I took the motor back out to weld up the engine bay and what not. Went to sort out the heater hoses.

                    PROBLEM.

My coolant crossover pipe (accumulator) only has two places to connect hoses. Two.

So I guess I'll be drilling/tapping the one blank and thread a barbed connector in there.

Side note, threw the harness on the engine and hooked everything up. I have no idea where several of these plugs go, lol. I had them labeled, but I guess two years and moving from garage to garage some of my blue painters tape fell off.

Also got my fuel hose run with a new filter. Got a good condition MT1 wheel to replace the one I took off this car and sold. LOL parts car. Realized I cannot find the fuel sending units, so a WTB is out for both in-tank sending units for a late car.

Then Sunday I got sucked into helping Inufaye with e36 bullshittery. ;) Not that I had anything else to do.

                    18 days left.

My pipe is te same exact way. But I don't wanna drill and tap. There's gotta be another way lol

I think what's going on is my engine is from a manual trans car originally (e34 540i/6).

That's really the only explanation I can see. I found several on ebay that looked like they would work, but at $60 (at least) a pop, I'm going to tap in a barbed connection at the one blank. My friend was saying last night how cheap I've been able to get this together. I don't want to start spending tons of cash now, lol. Plus too I don't have time to wait on shipping.

Did you plasma cut it? Cuts and corners are sharp!

My last master cylinder should be here tomorrow, so I can get this thing bolted in and plumbed up!

So, would it be wise to cap one end off and hook the resivior to one? I don't plan on hooking my heater core up.

Don't see why not. I have to have the heat, for the defrost, to pass inspection....technically. I thought about just not hooking it up since it's coming up on Summer, but figured I my as well while I have the thing apart.
