    It's very cheap, as it's an "industrial plant" those small part platings go with the bigger batches for couple of bucks..

    Check out the other pictures, it's the rear heater pipe;

            Going forward at last;

            Been on work-trips etc but the show where this beauty should be ready is approaching fast (5 weeks time) so we really need to get this project forward! :)

            Next weekend we should be able to bolt fenders etc on place after we've sourced couple small parts here and there...

              Going forward! Spent 14h at the garage with mr. TR79 yesterday and we got quite a lot of things done.

              The engine bay is almost done, still missing AC-pipes as we decided to modify them a bit.

              Brake fluid reservoir and intake pipe are still missing, and I guess we might do something to the "radiator breather pipe" as well..

              Windshield, floor carpets and rear-end body parts are also aligned, so it's starting to look quite good actually :)

              Still missing some small parts, but hoping to get them before next weekend so we could finally bolt all body-parts on the cabrio.

                  After a day's work the cabrio starts looking quite good :)

                  Some small parts are missing here and there (chrome @ kidneys, window sills, intake pipe etc..) but mostly it's all done with regards to engine bay and body.

                  Next it's time to continue wiring and as soon as the interior is stitched together to bolt it back on. The show is on easter so not too much time..

                    Copper line for reservoir

                    I've had a few installs where I do similarly with aluminum or copper as they are very easily bent, and flanged.

                    I've often thought of pulling a long roll of heat shrink over it, then hitting it with a heat gun. It would then have the appearance of a stock plastic tube.

                    What did you do for yours? It went from non-stock copper to stockish looking black....

                    Just curious, and making conversation.

                    Alex.

                          Yap, and it looks quite kick-ass when you have a close look at it! :)

                          Regarding the cabrio itself, it's pretty much ready for the show (though requires thorough cleaning before that).

                          Never "driven" electric seats in an E30 before - damn that felt nice! :D

                              Unfortunately we're not that far yet, there's some wiring left to be done plus some small things for which I simply didn't have time before the easter-show.

                              I expect to get the cabrio finished, tuned and adjusted during May..

                                The show went well, we got couple quality pictures as well.

                                Now the interior is apart again, going to finish the wiring and fire her up! :)
