Can someone get me some measurements of their M60?

I'm looking for the clearance between the back of the head to the fire wall near where the factory booster bolts up and the distance from the headers to the inside of the frame rail. Basically trying to see if the E30 LS1 hydro boost kit will fit. Pics would be good too.

This is the best that I have at the moment.

    Thanks

It all depends on the headers and engine position. For both you have countless different options..

Check out my latest project pictures at v8cabrio.kuvat.fi - you might get some ideas there..

I'll take a look at those.

I'm after measurements of M60s in position 2 with the 300mm.de mounts.

        Clearance doesn't look terribly bad.

Having done the M60 swap and looking at the above picture, I would say that the only areas that look to be an interference issue is the stamped steel cover over the bellcrank setup on the firewall where the stock booster would mount and the actual mount for the hydro unit. It looks like that they both stick too far out and will contact the left cylinder head. The rest looks to be a non-issue... at least from that picture and my experience...

Note that everything on our HB system is outboard of a plane defined by the inner face of the LH engine bay frame rail. Also note that the stock ABS unit is still there and useable.

The small cover on the firewall is over the first bell-crank assy, and projects about 2.5" forward of the firewall.

If the M60 is as far back in the engine bay as it can be (e.g. Garey's swap) then that linkage kit won't work as the cover over the pivot will interfere with the back of the cylinder head.

If you don't mind positioning the engine somewhat forward of its furthest rear position, then it should fit.
