In my mind yes, from the engine mount/radiator clearance/driveshaft side of things vs it being almost plug and play with 24v.

I want to do an M60 swap so bad. Especially since my turbo'd M30 was deemed illegal by the CA BAR :/

M30 was a fairly simple swap IMO. I think the extra time spent cramming the M60 in there is worth it for 8 cylinders, 6 gears, and a wonderful sound.

By no means am I saying it's not worth it....just saying 24v is basically a walk in the park...them m30, then s54/m6x swaps.
