thats what i did with your flywheel lol... 540i flywheel, 94-95 530i clutch disc and 328I stage 2 pressure plate, works fine

Ya this looks like the direction I'm going in, ordering the 530 disc tonight.
will post fitment pictures parts are somewhat local so should (fingercrossed)
have them by the end of the week.

Ok update..

Got the disc today and so far so good.. Fit up to trans with no issue .
Now just waiting for the flywheel to come in tomorrow..

Also looks like situation with the project maybe changing..
Got a interesting phone call today and a reaffirming talk from the wife soo..
Give me a day to work out the details but I should have a interesting update tomorrow..

Ok looks like there have been a project juggle in the house of MMP
Looks like this project has gone way out side the budget that my son and wifes feel comfortable with, as well as the timeline of need for my son and
the part that hurts the most build detail...
Turns out that the car he wants most is the "Mule"
So after some encouragement from my wife and request from both I have relinquished the owner ship of my E30, and the M20b28 Turbo build.
So now he owns it out right and owes nothing..
In turn I will be taking over "Jack-n-coke" not sure how I feel about that.
Sure its going to be sic'

I got the m5 flywheel and pressure plate with disc.
turns out the Disc I bought and posted pic's of and a part number too
is and exact replica of the M5/M62 disc but with the 5spd spline!
exact in every way except spline... Nut Cracked








As you can see it fits the 6spd M62/M5 flywheel perfectly

2.93 limited slip Diff. to stash behind my M62, 5spd :up:

Ok thanksgiving update. Went looking for a trunk lid and hood for the Mule yesterday at the yard and came across 3 94-95 540i's in the yard.
Had all my tools so I scored a hole remote brake booster setup for $50 bones..
Going back in the morning to pull all of the early model intake manifolds
One for me and the rest for sale! ;-)

will post pic's of my new stuff tomorrow after i get back from the yard..

Ok so I pulled the peddle box out of the car last night. Boy was that fun.. ugh

So while at work today I did the needed modifications. I'll post pictures tomorrow while i paint.
This should work out well. Now looking into the Gas peddle mod.

Big issue I see facing me is the ABS. FUCK! I didn't want to have to fuck with this..
I was hoping I could shift it around alittle..
But Looks like I'm going to have to find a new location for it.. DAMN IT!

OK so I need suggestions on the ABS..
(not looking forward to that)

Ok sorry for the lag on an update...

Well last time at the yard I scored an early M60 manifold, and two late model
M60's

I planned running the early model for obvious reasons (More hp)
But i have a chance to score a set of ITB's from a s62 engine.

I've come to the fact that I will be running a PNP MegaSquirt

SO the question is

Independent Throttle Bodies

or

Early M60 Manifold (Integrated Velocity Stacks)


I want good street-able horsepower. I was looking at a supercharger
but not sure...

I really like the thought of the ITB's :nice:
