Forgot to check in on this... good to see things are moving along well! Be interesting to see this thing in person when its finished.

It was good to meet you.

You'll need an adapter for the S62 throttle bodies. They won't bolt on. I'd be interested to see what kinds of power gains you could get out of a M60b44 with custom ground cams, a nice set of headers, and adapted S62 throttles.

So let me get this straight,
You can't jjust bolt the e34 brake linkage directly to the firewall and fit the m60 in? it has to be moved to the side?

My basic understanding was get the entire e34 linkage/assembly and adjust the length, make a provision in the strut tower barce, and then tack it all in.

Holy shit my swap just got 12x harder. Thank you for the link and clearing that up.

Your fab skill is pretty nice! Not to thread jack but,
I rule ABS over having a boostter so i'd rather keep ABS.
Using an e34 setup looks like the ABS will either have to be deleted or relocated (niether of which i'd like to do). if that's the case then then will a Massive Booster Delete solve all my problems?

^^^^this too is what I planned to do for my braking. Just go Boostless
              Because V8

I wonder if the massive booster delete fits? Looks like it worked on the s62

Nope, nowhere near enough room. The head is ~3" away from the firewall where the factory brake pedal linkage exits the firewall. Not enough room for a ~8" long master cylinder.

You could probably do the pedal modifications to switch the linkage over to the other side like I did, then run the booster delete where I have my e34 knee bracket.

                    Good info, Thanks again.
If that's the case then I might as well keep the nooster and follow what you did. If you guys could help me withthat I'd gladly compensate for you time.

Hey monkey madness, Think you could fab that up again?

Have you tried your pedal box yet? I had some serious flexing problems right off the bat after I got the brakes bled and put some pressure on the pedal. Enough to cause the master cylinder to bind up. It was actually flexing in a part of the bracket that I didn't modify, just from the additional force of the cylinder being moved over further. I guess the increased leverage was just too much. I ended up having to add a bunch of bracing on the entire pedal box.

Just curious how yours worked out.

I know the area of the bracket your talking about and I have not tested it.
I will before I'm done thanks to you bringing it up.
I have yet to finalize and button it up. Just wanted to cover all my bases before I call that mod complete.

So finally got some time to myself in the garage today.
So I pulled the crossmember and the front suspension to prep the car for the motor. then installed the new beefed up crossmember, e36 M steering rack, IE poly steering bushing, v8 mounts, 10mm spacers.
Next I will reinstall the suspension with CONDOR M3 solid bushings turned 90*
(hole down) and Condor Aluminum power steering delete.

It's been slow going here at MMP
Got so many projects working don't get much time to work on the v8 car
But fitted the rad and welded up some rad supports...

removed the abs and starter plotting the cut points to mount the booster and booster mount..
