    e30 "standard" V8 mounts... A question...

There is a wealth of experience in the forum, andi suspect someone may know the answer to this.

In a standard M50 transplant, you guys know how to pick a specific driveshaft and rear tranny brace to fit the ZF e36 M3tranny, or Getrag 325 tranny.

Does anyone know if the M60 with 5 speed will use the exact same spacing forward to rear using these common mounts....

In other words, if you had a M50 engine with its five speed before going to a V8 using 300mm brackets, would you be able to retain shifter parts, DS, tranny mounts?

    Or...

Do these common brackets move the tranny forward or rearword from that position?

To be clear.... You shortened shifter compared to what prior gearbox, behind which engine?

The stock crossmember you used was meant for m20 based getrag?

5 speed from a 94 530i, m62b44 block (block size and mounts should be the same with all the m6x blocks) and yes it was a m20 tranny brace
