So you went through 5 sets of cylinder heads to figure it out, but in this thread ( http://www.bimmerfest.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=615494 ) you couldn't even figure out how to get the heads off? I understand people can learn a lot from their mistakes in 8 months, but really?

EDIT: Are those just the pictures from the engine you claimed broke two connecting rods from water?

I'm uploading pictures now to my email. just waiting for them to send. I went through about 10 cylinder headers to make it work. I basically made the bearing seats wider/deeper if that made any sense. Kind of talking machine talk lol

I am just using the s62 cams using m62 not m62tu heads. I started this build last monday since I already had a few motors suspension parts piping etc laying from previous work. I am doing this from my driveway because I don't have room in the shop and I have all the equipment I need at both at home and the shop so why not.
So m62 non vanos heads, with s62 dual vanos cams installed? What kind of machine work did it take to make them fit, and how are you controlling the cam movement? I think you are the first person in the world to do that, so we all eagerly await pics.

OP - stop talking and post some pictures of what you are doing. You should be able to upload them to this forum or any hosting site and provide links here.... enough of lame talk.

    Until then -
