E30 M60 v8 swap with GT45 Turbo

    You're using forged s62 internals/cams on a m62tu with m60non vanos heads?
    did you bore out the cylinders? I would love to see it if you did...

      These M60s are tractor motors. Fucking bore that sucker and drop a new sleeve in there and roll. It's like rebuilding two TR-3 motors, HUH?

        Disregarding the fact that most of those engine parts you mentioned won't fit together without a huge amount of modification, what about cost? Why wildly modify an M62 to fit a ton of S62 parts rather than just buy an S62? It would be a lot cheaper.

        To summarize: Making an M62 accept S62 cams, valves, valve springs, crank, rods, and pistons is like making an S62. Word in the street is, BMW already made a ton of them.

                            Either his build will be a failure and cement his reputation as the idiot you all think he is, or it can provide some valuable information.
