    Yeah the weldings only costing me a slab of beer. But i do see your guys point, it would turn out being a pain in the ass. I was unaware of the torque rating being the name of getrags quite niave of me. Yeah there are heaps in merica for cheap but cost in excess of a thousand to get here. I have manage to find a getrag 265 from 635csi the ones with the removable bell housing. I wonder if i could find a bolt on v8 housing?

      Did you do a refurb on the alternator as well, if not do it as those tend to fail. Also on electrical side, check your engine starter prior to installing in it all in the e30. Replacement once the engine is in is close to impossible :).

        If by refurb do you mean replace the bearings? Then yeah i did
