    M60 cooling system caps (pressure)

In my cooling system I'm using a E30 ETA overflow bottle with a 1.2 bar cap. The M60 is designed for a 2.0 bar cap. I know a lot of you are using E34/E32 overflow bottles with the 2.0 bar caps but for those that are not what did you do?
Is there a 2.0 bar cap that will thread onto an E30 bottle or will the system work well at 1.2 bar?

I'm using a 1.4 bar cap on my Mercedes coolant tank. Also running a Mishimoto 3 core radiator and 16" pusher fan, otherwise the coolant system is stock. I've idled in 100 degree weather for hours without passing halfway on the gauge, and have had no overflow issues.

I'm using an E30 M3 reservoir and whatever cap comes on an E30 M3 with a mishi M coupe radiator and spal pusher. Never sees the halfway mark ever. I also have the low temp t-stat.

Thanks for the feed back. When my car gets above 1/2 on the gage (fan not working right now) then coolant slowly starts to seep out of the cap on the overflow bottle. I figured it was just a bad cap but I wanted some confirmation.
I will order a new cap.

If your fan isn't working, that's why. When mine stopped working, I was boiling/overflowing coolant and overheating very quick, even with the big radiator. That was on a 90 degree day, but still...
