    How much extra hood clearance are we talking here? And what's the width of the intake manifolds?

    Just saying, but if they'd fit within the factory hood bulge... you could always cut the hood along the lines and 'cowl' it as much as you needed. Granted, it would look terrible if we're talking four inches of clearance or something... or if the metal work was done poorly. But a half inch or so? That might not be too bad... something to think about.

      Here man, check out these guys. I read about them either on Bimmerforums or Bimmerfest (which one I can't recall). I was checking into going with a twin screw on my 98' 540i. I know these guys did fabricate up a lower manifold in which you had the option of running either roots or lysholm.

      They did try out a tune but only for the m62b44tu. As of now I'm pretty sure they gave up on it and focused more on the s62 for the m5, But! I remember reading about how they would still build the lower intake manifolds for the public to buy for those who wish to try and tackle their own build.
