Will be checking out an 04 gto this week for my swap

I'll be checking out a running 04 gto for it's motor/trans sometime this week. I think that I've previously read somewhere that some parts (bell housing?) will not work in the e30... Anyone know what I'm talking about?

What I'll be taking from the car:
Motor with all accessories
Trans
Wiring Harness
PCM

What else should I look into snagging from this gto?

100% running and in great condition

Only difference on the T56's I can think of is they have the shifter in the rear position, as far back as it can go so it kinda hangs over the back of the gearbox. Not a problem though as you can just change the shift position with another shifter as the boxes use a rail setup so you can install them in a few different positions.

Okay thanks for the info. This is probably what I read about. Should I take the driveshaft too?

you'll need the yoke at the least, so, yeah.

Thanks for the replies fellas. I left the guy a deposit. Should have everything by next weekend or maybe sooner.
