I've used a corvette ls2 water pump spaced out per Garrett's description. Nice solution because I gained an inch of clearance over the fbody water pump for the radiator and can get a pump from Napa as an easy replacement. Wanted something off the shelf in case it blows at the track, quick fix

ya i think by the time i get my car running and pump blows napa will sell it its just to new for them to have. the l99 should need no spacers and take up same amount of space as ls2 vette pump (same style pulley) but with hose on other side. have any pics of your setup?

3/4" over f-body camaro... should be same space as l99 2010 camaro pump. then i can use 2010 tensioner also with no spacers and hose is closer to the z3 rad inlet.

also 1990m3 what rad are you running. i see your inlet is modified...

Here my set up. E36 non 318 radiator with a Volvo v70 2 speed fan mounted with the shroud as a pusher. Doing this you can use all of the stock f-body accessories and no issues with clearances. I have all the parts just haven't installed it yet. Gertech has done a setup very similar to this except I believe he is using a spal fan.

Yes, I'm running an e36 rad with all stock f-body accessories. No need for these hybrid contraptions. I'm currently running dual Benz 190e Bosch pusher fans. If this doesn't prove to be adequate, then I'll go another route. I like the Volvo v70 option. Is this working out well for you?

Did some quick research and look like the Volvo fans flow like crazy, 3000-3500 cfm. Don't know how credible the sources are but those are the number posted out there.

Wow, that's some serious flow. If those numbers are correct you certainly won't have any issues with cooling it down!
