Drive shaft to use with v8

I have m62b44 engine I am putting in my e30 to Race it
So I have choice between 5 speed and 6 speed trannies
I want to go with 5 speed from 95 530i
    I have 3.15 LSD diff
Can I use stock e30 drive shaft but I think it won't least me in for a month.
6 speed Tranny I have is getrag 226
I am planning on using m5 light weight clutch kit from UUC

If you have any advice feel free to write it

If you search this forum, you'll find all of your answers.

    For the 5 speed trans... an e36 328i, late e30 325e, or e30 M3 driveshaft will work.

For the 6 speed... you need a 540i driveshaft flange welded onto a shortened e30 driveshaft. Or you can use an automatic e36 M3 4-bolt shaft if you use an e46 M3 output shaft on the trans.

Neither should have any issues holding the torque. Abuse kills driveshafts, not power (not at these power levels anyway).
